I wouldnt call it, "give up" I would call it a plan B if you will. Yes I would start checking on it now so it doesnt get too late.
I'm waiting on Boston, Buffalo, NYU, Temple, Meharry, UCLA, UOPDepends, which schools are you waiting on?
3.22 overall 3.10 BCP AA19Stats?

URM?
I'm in a similar situation. Rejected by 5. Waiting to hear back from 8. I think at this point in the application cycle it's best to identify the weak points from your current application and start making the moves to improve for the next application (extracurriculars, grades, etc.). For me it's grades so I'm applying to some masters and post-bacc as back up. Stay optimistic though! We haven't been rejected from all the schools we've applied to yet so we still have a chance.

stay strong! it only takes 1 school, just do excellent on your Touro interview!

Stats aren't the end all for interview and admission decisions; however, your's are kind of low for a few of the schools listed (esp. UCLA and UOP). Without some extra curricular that stands out or an outstanding personal statement, I think you should strongly consider a plan B now.

I think there's a good possibility of Roseman getting back to you.
hey there. I think it's still early to rule anything out but to be honest it's always wise to have a backup plan. I say you start looking in to a post bach (maybe apply) and get something for SURE on the books for August. PLUS if you do get an interview this is something you can mention that might show your drive to get in to dental school.

Double-edged sword there? They might expect you to go through with your plan and do a post-bacc. Just a thought.
Unlikely... They would invite this invididual not knowing about their postbac plans but may ask "If you don't get in what are your plans" during the interview. A good response to this question demonstrating drive and commitment could help the applicant THIS cycle.Double-edged sword there? If this individual is invitied for an interview THIS cycle and states that if they are NOT accepted they will pursue a post bac I can't see how that would hurt their chances.
As other have mentioned, I don't think you should throw in the towel just yet with regards to being accepted this cycle, but you should definitely begin working towards a plan B just in case you don't get in.
