no word from these schools. rejection letters soon?

No Response Yet: Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, University of Vermont

i think i've read on threads that haravard, hopkins, and penn have stopped interviewing..

no actually ur on their top priority list...they just wanted to interivew the losers first and then get to the good ones at the very end :D

how is that for sarcasm :wink:

admit defeat buddy...we can't please all the schools all the time <img border="0" alt="[Pity]" title="" src="graemlins/pity.gif" />

I can tell you for sure that

no word from harvard or Penn as of now = REJECTION :(

seriously, not a big deal for me. i am going to med school next year cause i got my state school. I just don't like how some schools have done zip. Especially since I gave them a wad of cash to at least send me a letter of rejection.

i think i've read on threads that haravard, hopkins, and penn have stopped interviewing..•••••Hey - I was in pretty, much the same boat about a week and a half. HMS just sent me a thin letter (I think last wed) JHU I emailed - no love. UPenn's last interview date was in mid-Feb.

Screw HMS and JHU anyway.
That reminds me, did anyone see that article in the wallstreet journal - or any other paper for that matter - about a week ago? According to the article, three improperly cleaned bronchoscopes at JHU exposed 400 patients to bacteria which cause lung infections.
Not good.
 
In regards to Loyola...we're pretty much in for a rejection if we haven't heard from them yet at this point in the game. A friend of mine who goes there told me that typically the class is filled by January, but he was trying to ruffle my feathers at the time... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
 
If you're in the area of Baltimore, a few of my friends at Hopkins have been called and asked if they can interview this week. Good luck.
