No word from UCLA after 1.5 months?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I got an email a few days ago with an interview invite. My application was complete and in review for about 2 months!

Hand in there, UCLA is not like UOP, they have not filled up their class and they are still giving interviews for real spots not for alternate.

good luck

Last year I submitted a secondary to UCLA in July and didn't hear from them (not a word, no email, no call, no letter, NOTHING) until I got an interview invite in March and eventually found out I got in in April...you shouldn't completely write UCLA off but have a back-up plan just in case. Good luck!

You sexy devil you!

Yeah...I applied on December 25th during my application cycle, got my secondary and filled it out at the end of January, and didn't hear from UCLA until late March, when I was invited for an interview for a spot in the class (not alternate). They contacted me two days later and told me I had gotten in. UCLA takes a while in between taking your secondary application $ and informing you you have an interview. =P

If anyone is interviewing at UCLA soon, drop me a PM since I'm one of the students conducting student interviews. =p

When I interviewed at UCLA we had a Q and A session with four UCLA students and the whole applicant group but no student interview. Did they change the procedure?
