So who is applying to non-ERAS programs?
Which ones are the non-ERAS programs that are taking applications this year?
How does the process work? Do they just decide to accept you, like medical school, and then you choose whether to accept their acceptance? And if you get in and take the position do you just withdraw from ERAS and the match?

Good question..does anyone have a list of all the non-ERAS programs? Thanks.

A FREIDA search gave the following programs that are non-ERAS:

U of Kentucky
National Capital Consortium Program-Maryland
NY Methodist Hospital
U of Washington
Rush

Maybe that helps?
Good luck to all that are applying this year.

You can add Rush to the list too I think.
USC is ERAS though, I applied to their program.

Is the NCC program the same as NIH? Is it affiliated with the military?

what do you guys think about what kind of paper we should print out the application materials on? is it like a normal job interview where we should buy that really weighty resume-quality paper for our CV, personal statement, and application?

I'm at NY Methodist, and yes we are still non-ERAS. The program will be taking 2 residents to start in 2009, and 2 residents to start 2010. After that, you got to wait awhile as we only have four residents total. I guess that means that if you are applying this year (to start 2008), you can cross us off the list.:(
