Hey everyone,
I'll be attending Michigan's School of Public Health for Health Management and Policy starting in the fall. Originally I was thinking that I would be interested in doing a fellowship at a big hospital (which seems the most popular option), but now I'm reconsidering. I think that I would feel more fulfilled and better suited to work at a non-profit organization specializing in maternal and child health (women's studies major in undergrad), even if I were to make less money. I think that this program will be great for me because it will give me business/administrative skills, but I'm wondering if I will be able to get the kind of job I want. Can anyone offer me some advice on this? Thanks!
