So I am applying to both MD and DO schools this cycle. I am a non-traditional student who graduated in 2014, worked a few years, then did a post-bac in 2017-2019.

cGPA: 3.2
Post Bac GPA 3.93 (all science classes)
sGPA: 3.75 (post bac+undergrad)
Note: I know my cGPA is a bit low, but I am slightly hopeful that my improved performance in the post bac program is favorable.

MCAT:
1st attempt: 6/2019 121/125/125/126 (497)
2nd attempt: 9/2020 127/127/128/129 (511)

State of residency: CA (Post Bac in MA)

Clinical experience:
1. House Counselor at a psychiatric facility; Hours: 5407 (non-volunteer)

3. Covid 19 Vaccine Clinic: 80 hours
4. Head of First Aid at a summer camp (I have been told by some this doesn't count but others have said it does. Not sure if it does, but I do not mind it not counting as I already have lots of hours) Hours: 592 (non volunteer)

non-clinical experience (Non-clinical)
1.Volunteer tutor at Elms College; hours: 90 hours (volunteer)
2. TA for Genetics; 48 hours (non-volunteer)
3. Founder and president of Elms College Tutoring Club; hours: ~100 (volunteer)
4. Environmental Activist with Coast Keepers; Hours: 50 (this is current however and I will probably get lots more through the year)

Shadowing Experience
1. Family Medicine- 30 hours

Research Experience
1. Environmental Research with Coast Keepers; 100 hours
2. I took a research methods class in undergrad (UCSB) and had to do a research project as well as present a poster at a campus event, not sure if this counts however. Does this count?)

1. UCSB Rowing Team
2. UCSB Fencing Team

1. LOVE Card award from hospital I volunteer

Other:
Certifications: Certified RBT, Lifeguard
