Do you like fun? Games? Murder mysteries? Or, alternatively, tricking people? Join the SDN pre-vet forum tradition of trying out a game of WW (description in the first post of this thread)! This game is designed specifically for people who haven't played before, and you'll be paired up with a more experienced player as a mentor to help guide you along the way.

I made some of my closest friends in vet school (and beyond, now) through playing WW on this forum. It's a ton of fun! I encourage you to check it out 🙂

You're invited to join an SDN pre-vet tradition and play a social deduction game of Werewolf/Mafia, with a more experienced player there to help guie you! Detailed explanation is in the first post of this thread. It's tons of fun and has a lengthy history of being played by pre-vets, vet students, vets, and some of our human med colleagues!

It sounds silly, but I made some of my closest friends during vet school through this game and am now IRL very close with them. I highly encourage it. And for FLBuckeye specifically, yes, we've had parents play before 😉 (@BobLoblaw78, we miss you!).

Keyword try, I wouldn't bank on having new player subs available unless we end up with people who can't make the start date work but could join a bit later.

There is no obligation to read every post 😉 as long as you can check in, post a few times, and vote every day cycle (which is every other irl day) you should be fine. I don't have strict participation requirements for noob games beyond that.

I am reasonably confident that's not how it went down. I think you and I sat next to each other, you happened to see SDN on my computer but didn't ask about it, then a few months later we invited you on staff and we realized we were sitting next to each other.

Then you invited me but I declined due to being too busy. I'm still too busy but it sounds fun, so meh 😛

I won't directly address this because it's not my place to share her news. But she had a prior career, and multiple prior degrees, and has found a new direction that she is very excited for. And I am too 🙂

NO I DEFINITELY BROUGHT IT UP IN PERSON but didn't get your username and then I haven't had funding for conference travel / FACTOR happens at a bad time of year for my current life / both since 😭

Tell your mom I tried many things, including pickle ice cream. I also had a pickle mango sorbet that was delightful.

My fridge currently contains 3 kinds of pickles, pickleback fudge, and I have a pickle scone on the counter :heckyeah:

A pickleback refers to a combination of a shot of liquor (I think usually whiskey?) followed by a shot of pickle brine. The fudge is whiskey and pickle flavored lol

I don't know the answer to your specific question, so I'm doing the wolfy thing of answering a different question and pretending that's sufficient.

It’s the player on the offense that “receives” the play-action fake to draw linebackers off the ball. The pickleback pretends to have the ball, but it’s actually a pickle. The quarterback boots the other way into the wide open field.
