I've heard that some schools (I know Yale at least) have "second look" weekends in the spring for accepted applicants. Do you guys know if this is the norm?
After talking to friends who applied last year, I don't think that second-look weekends are the norm. I know that Northwestern has one; what really makes these nice is that the school pays for the plane ticket. Oh yeah, and I guess you get to see the school in a new light--that of a definite future-doctor. I wish more schools had this.
