Has anyone that sent in a video essay for them heard back from them? I sent them the link for my youtube video and have yet to get a confirmation email that they saw it.
 
I just got the email about the video! Mine is due the 7th. Did you ever get your confirmation?
 
Did anyone just get the email? I was accepted! After many, many schools later, I am gonna be an OT! :-D

hi guys! I was just accepted to Nova for the MOT program as well! Is anyone planning on attending for sure?
 
Hi guys, is this for the summer 1 2018 start date? If so, I got an acceptance and may be attending! I haven't heard back from other schools though and I don't like how the deposit is due in about a week and a half :/ anyone in the same situation? Are you just paying the deposit in case? I really would love to attend, just conflicted on what to do.
 
For anyone that applied to the OTD program, how long was your supplemental essay?

Hi!
For me I will be attending Nova, unless I get accepted to another school I applied to (would be cheaper for me to attend). I am going to put down the deposit anyways, so I know I will definitely be attending an OT school and one I want to be at! 🙂

Mine was just a long paragraph. I was unsure of this at first as well. But I ended up getting offered and interview, just waiting on a decision. Goodluck!
 
Hi everyone! I just got an acceptance to Nova's OTD program!!!! They called me yesterday and told me that I will be getting a letter in the mail and an email with more information. I don't know how long I have to decide. I would love to attend but I won't hear back from other schools until later, so I am conflicted as well.

Also, does anyone have any idea how many they choose for the program. Is it competitive?
 
I was accepted to the MOT program as well and am conflicted. I haven't been able to visit the campus since I'm about 15 hours away! Has anyone visited and know more about it?
 
I’m thinking of going to the backstage pass on February 8th but I don’t know much about Nova either! Seems like a great program though
 
I've never visited the campus either but since I am in state, and I don't hear back from other schools for a while, I guess I am paying the deposit this weekend. I've also thought about it a lot and I think I like Nova's program enough to basically almost be committed to going there, plus my parents won't be happy if I paid the deposit but go somewhere else bc it's kind of a lot of money!
Also, is there a facebook group for the MOT program by chance? I would love to try and find a roommate or get my living situation figured out bc the program starts in May i believe and I will only have 1-2 weeks to get everything in place at that point lol

I’m right there with you on all of that!! I definitely think we should set up a Facebook group soon so we can all discuss those things 🙂
 
Hey guys! I was just wondering how long it took to receive your acceptance after submitting the video interview? I just received an email to do the interview. I am also hesitant to pay $1000 when I am still waiting for other schools to send acceptance/rejection letters.

Hi hi! My video was due Nov 7th and I did find out Dec 1st. Looks like they accept people in waves, so the next wave seems to be Feb 1st.

By reading this it seems they do rolling admission? I received a call yesterday stating they had all my application materials. When did you all get your info about the video interview?

Yup, NSU does rolling admissions! I submitted my application around the end of October and received an interview invite about 3 weeks later.
 
Did anyone hear back from Nova today? I am still waiting!
 
did you guys get emails about acceptance/high hold decisions? or did you guys have to wait till the letter was mailed?
 
I got an email today. It says that I’ll get the physical letter in the mail and that I have until 2/11 to submit my deposit!

I heard from Nova yesterday with an offer to attend. I think I will go ahead and submit my deposit, as it is my only offer at this point. I'm excited though, it seems to be a great program! I will most likely be searching for a roommate....has anyone created a facebook page for NSU MOT c/o 2020?

Awesome congrats!! So exciting. I was considering making a page but I am not dead set on attending Nova (although I did put my deposit in). If someone else would like to make one, I'd be all for it!

Are you high hold for the MSOT or OTD program in tampa?

Concentrations: Clinical Exercise Physiology
GPA- 3.85
GRE- V 150 Q 154 W 3.0 :/
Observation hours: 228 (about 6 different settings)
 
I sent in a video interview Jan. 15th and never heard back. I'm assuming they have filled all their spots?

I was placed on the waiting list on Feb 2nd and in that email I was told admissions would reevaluate decisions on March 15 so hopefully that means you will know around that time too!
 
I also withdrew my acceptance recently so I hope you guys make it off the waiting list soon 🙂

Does this mean we will hear back on March 15, or that they will begin reevaluating people on this day and we shouldn’t expect to hear for a while after that?

Sounded to me like they would have a final decision by today, I'll let you know if I hear back.

Probably we'll hear from them today or a few days after.
 
Just got an email saying I'm still considered High Hold, but that I possibly could be accepted at any time between now and the day that classes begin.

Same, I got an email saying I’m a “priority high hold”
