hey guys i might be applying next cycle and had a question on LOR. I have shadowed 2 DO's from nsu and 1 from nsu/nycom(prof). for my application to nsu will these 3 letters suffice ?? if so how many LOR does NSU limit ?

NSUCOM requires three LOR, two from science professors and one from non-science liberal arts professor. Or a preprofessional committee will be fine. They also require one DO letter of recommendation. So you already have the DO letter which is required. Otherwise you need letters from the science professors (2) and liberal arts professor (1). Hope this helps. Good luck.
Does a professor at a osteopathic school count as a science or DO? because i have shadowed many DO's. also when one graduates from NSU are there recc. more valuable ?

If the professor is a DO, it counts as a DO LOR. The science LORs should be from courses that you have taken before such as bio, chem, physics, etc. (Unless you're taking a course from a DO at an osteopathic institution, which doesn't seem likely).
I'm not sure how the adcom operates with LORs from their graduates, but it does catch their eye. My DO LOR was from a graduate of a school that I interviewed at, but it didn't seem to help since I was deferred. I was later accepted though.
