What would you think could be the dx of a typically healthy patient who reports he went on a weekend rafting trip , suffered no known injury, comes home on Sunday to experience immediate spontaneous numbness/paralysis of forearm, hands, lower leg, and feet? Five days later, no change in symptoms. ??? Any ideas?

I'd think that if you were presenting this case formally, that the history and physical are woefully incomplete. If you are looking for medical advice, then my advice is the patient should go see a doctor in person.
