Number of interview invites

This is for people who interviewed in the past... Post with how many you went to as well (e.g. 3 out of 8, 2 of 3, whatever).

I had 9 interview invites, declined 4 of them, accepted at 4/5 schools I interviewed at.

8 invites...went to 6, rejected at 2, waitlisted at 3, 1 direct acceptance and 1 acceptance from waitlist....interview season wasn't too jolly for me

...but those numbers have an asterisk because I got my application in very late. I was told by several other schools that if my app were in earlier that they would have granted me an interview. Also, I was initially waitlisted at every school I applied to, because they had already filled their slots for the year by the time i interviewed.

Moral of the story...even if you're a great applicant, you screw yourself royally by not getting your app in incredibly early!

Went to 5 out of 5 this year. 3 acceptances (1 off waitlist), 2 rejections.
Went to 1 out of 1 last year. You know the results. 😀

2 direct acceptances, 1 waitlist acceptance, im still waitlisted at 3, no rejections from any of the schools i interviewed at...yet : /

Applied to 28, invited to 16, went to 15, withdrew from 1 post-interview, rejected from 2 post-interview, waitlisted at 7 post-interview, accepted at 5 post-interview, accepted at 2 post-waitlist, withdrew from 1 post-waitlist and still waiting!
