NY DPT 2021

I have applied to Columbia, NYU, and Touro Manhattan. I will for sure keep in touch in this forum with you guys.

I applied to some of the NY area schools and have gotten an interview at Rutgers in October and was asked to complete the secondary application for Touro Manhattan because they don't do interviews (not sure if everyone got this though lol). Crossing my fingers Columbia comes soon if they've been sending out invites

I also got an invite to Rutgers for late October and got sent the supplemental form for Touro. I wish you luck with Columbia! From what I understand they are doing a big session that Monday and then having individual interviews but I will have to see how many people are in the bigger call.

Same here, November 13th is quick, my other top choice has their deadline on Nov. 1st and their first interview is not till mid November. Columbia seemed like a great program and the faculty really seemed invested in their students. I was sold on the program after the information session. I want to go into orthopedics and sports PT so the clinical affiliations and opportunities in a city like NYC is quite appealing.
 
Has anyone who already interviewed with Columbia not heard back yet? I know some of you have, but I haven’t yet and I’m dying to know! I know it hasn’t been the full four weeks yet, so I’m very hopeful to hear soon. I was at the 10/6 virtual session and interviewed on 10/8.

I would email Ms. Kim at the ptadmissions email they provide. She will probably say sometime in October, but given that is this week maybe she will provide you with more information about what to expect.
