NYC MCAT Testing Centers

Just wondering if anyone who has taken the CBT MCAT in NYC has any recommendations for or against any of the testing centers.

One of my classmates who took it last year said that her delete key didn't work (which made the essay portion difficult)! Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight at the time to ask her where she took it.

Right now I'm registered at the Third Avenue (at 42nd St) center...

i took it in queens.. 95-25.. decent site.

Hi - I took it at 42nd/3rd location. It was fine - nothing to really complain about. It was a bit crowded when I was in (early on a Friday morning) - some were MCAT-takers but many were taking other tests and certifications (accounting, et al.) so not everyone was on the same schedule. The office workers were very kind, competent and helpful - it's sunny and quiet - no horror stories or anything.

One Penn Plaza (1504) was quite nice. One of the Prometric employees there mentioned the 17th floor suite was nicer, though.

I suppose if any of the sites were consistently bad, there'd have already been many posts about them...
