Just a quick note.
Supposedly MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) New York City Transit division's main union is calling for a work strike on Friday morning. This may make interviewing in the city difficult even if you have no plans on taking a bus, subway, or train. The mayor may impose HOV restrictions below 96th St (4 per car). So if you're interviewing at Columbia/Cornell or another NYC program this Thursday, I suggest that you get out of town before Friday, if you are finished with your NY interviews. :eek:
