I got accepted 2 weeks ago so maybe nothing is left...

but still my questions are not answered as to what other loans are better after getiing max stafford loan?

I got some grant, but like everyone said, it's laughable. Maybe it will fill my gas tanks for my car.

I got that NYCOM grant too. I think they randomly give it out...I dont know.

I believe the NYCOM Grant is given out to all students. It is ~2K a year. It is a drop in the bucket, but it means the bucket isn't empty.
