NYITCOM-Ar vs. LMU-DCOM

Hey guys,

I know there was a thread about this specific post about 3 years ago but I'm wondering if anyone has more insight on the current situation of NYITCOM-Ar.

Does anyone have a pro'd and cons list for either or both schools? One big issue with NYITCOM-Ar is the fact that we are not able to see residency placements for the Arkansas campus, however, it is pass/fail grading scale.

LMU-DCOM is a well established school but is also coming up with a new campus in Knoxville, however, its has a grading scale.

Can anyone here offer any more insight between both the campuses? Thank you!

Some things to consider:
-LMU does not have mandatory attendance (I'm not sure about the NYITCOM- AR)
-LMU is in a very rural area unless you pick the Knoxville campus, while NYITCOM- AR is located on a bigger college campus.
-Is any school closer to home? Is that important you?

Unquestionably LMU DCOM. Given the option to go back and make the decision again I would 100% go to LMU DCOM over NYITCOM at AR. I was accepted to both and chose NYIT over LMU because of the established curriculum coming from the original campus in Old Westbury, NY. Over the course of two years in Jonesboror, AR, exceedingly high faculty turnover, dismal school/class morale, and a complete lack of support or confidence from the faculty and administration in their students quickly made me realize that NYITCOM's AR campus is simply the red headed stepchild of the more prestigious campus in Old Westbury. I have many peers at both campuses and have no problem sharing the real story of what is going on at NYITCOM AR and why it would be one of the worst mistakes of your professional career to attend. Are you still unhappy with this choice 2 years later or have things improved? I am stuck between UIW and NYIT-AR.
