NYU Interview

Just call NYU again for those who has been interviewed and they told me "its going to take a while before we can make any decision",it seems we have to wait a long time before receive any response from them.
 
Guys,I applied in NYU 2 weeks ago and I didnt hear anything.I am calling them but they r always busy.
My status r NBDE 89
Toefel 93
GPA 3,32
 
hi anyone out there with interviewon 7th feb in nyu?

mine r 87 part1..toefl 107 gpa 3..what abt u?where r u from?
 
someone who has been interviewed already has any other information about decisions ,first they said that in two weeks and now they are saying its gonna take a while .someone who called or will call to find out please post what they told you.
 
I am going to NYU on the 5th of feb, is there anybody on the same date?
 
Has anybody been accepted yet from the ones that have already interviewed?

i guess in this forumits just u and wisdomt tooth with interview calls !

Several people attending these days at nyu each batch contains 12 people. recently there was a interview on jan 31st and contains 12 people. they said they will take 2 weeks time to give their decision. i read some one's note in above, i think they may take long time to come up with a list accepted students. they asking very simple questions, like 'so you are from place xxx, how do you like it'. the interview was just formal.

just want to share info and keep this form up-to-date.

gpa: 3.81
toefl : 115..

Interviews go until when in NYU.
I have to schedule my interview date.

I have not yet got the answer has any one got an interview with gpa less than 3 .Mine is 2.95 ece and i am still waiting. It is really funny how every school has its requirement. The gpa was our very past why do they have to put in that for the admission. MBBS students donot have to go through this gpa thing to get into residency also they donot have to pay $200k for the school. Hope NYU considers us and makes our dream come true of getting into dental school... Guys please let us know if there is any one with gpa less than 3 and has an interview......

Is this the 4th batch to go for interview??
 
i just joined sdn. Had my interview in nyu on 15th batch, I was in the first batch. Yeah, they did say they'll mail letters in a week or so but didn't hear anything from them till now. I called and they said they'll start mailing letters next week. so just waiting.... whoever receives a letter plz let us know.

Just now I scheduled my interview for February 21
My stats are
Nbde part 1 89 (old pattern)
toefl 100
gpa 3.7
green card
Work exp: 3 yrs in home country, 1 yr in The US as DA

Applied in last week of October. Received the post card (status complete) on November 27th
Yesterday, got an e-mail for interview

I would like to thank all SDN members specially HYDBDS and fido who encouraged me to apply to NYUCD.

i applied in oct.i got interview call only from nyu as i understand i am not in competition let see what will happen next i schedule it from 19 to 14 of feb!

can you pease tell me ,are NYU people flexible regarding fixing the interview date..or we have to be thr whenever they tell us to..please reply,coz I have got an interview in BU on 28th feb,,and I live in midwest..i am booking my tickets now for Boston..i asked them b4 about my status..but they told me that i will come to know as my application will be evaluated...but its high time for me to book tickets..so if now they send me a call before my travel schedule..can I ask them to re schedule..or I should just go cancel the earlier 1 and book a new travel schedule for whatever cost i get it for....I am very very confused..what to do..moreover I have taken my part 2 date on 21st and 22nd...

Hey fido , nile bds, do i stand a chance to get interview call at NYU...? i am waiting and waiting................... when will i get a chance..? this and marquette are the only schools i applied along with colorado... i am applying second time to nyu....i want to get in nyu... it is my dream school.... any comments please, members please feel free to give some comments on my chances to NYU.........

Hey Chaku ! Dont Worrey at all Nyu people are very flexible i have prepond my interview from 19 to 14 ...so no problem take the convinent date

i have been interviewed in NYU and the lady told us that there are 125 seats this year and this process of interview will continue until april. they haven't send any acceptance letters yet. and they send the email first and u have to schedule your interview. best of luck.
 
Hi!
I have scheduled my interview on Monday, Feb 11th. anyone else for that day? when i called to schedule my interview, they told me that they usually have interviews on tuesdays and thursdays, but since they r all full for those days, they opened up mon 11th and fri 15th too!!! so thats 4 days of interview for the coming week!!!
Anyone else on 11th, plz do reply.

dont retake the part 1. go for part 2 and try for some other schools where part 2 is mandatory because u can not change ur gpa and in NYU gpa is a strict criteria ( should be above 3 )

You are saying that GPA 3 is must for NYU then how did you get an interview i think your gpa is 2.45 ece. Please donot give such comments so easily and break peoples heart who are waiting.... i have seen that that average gpa is 3 for the last years batch also average nbde is 87 . but many did get the interview with less than 87 this year....please make a good research or call nyu before giving out such information.......
