hi Guys, i got an intrview call from NYU. its on this 14th .Anyone else coming on the same day?

Hi! Congratulations. Could you please post your scores I'm a little confused because in one forum you wrote :

They told me bout my application status , thats it.
Also, that will inform by email and mail if i have an interview.

Got a letter for interview from NYU today.
I was interviewed last year and was waitlisted.
I will not be going as I got BU admission a few days ago.
I am surprised they called again. I had improved my part 1 from 87 to 92.
I remember last year they admitted waitlisted people from the year before without interviewing.

@ Desi Dentist Regarding the interview, I can say this : If you get Dr. Eugene L. Hittelman, consider yourself lucky! When I say he will make you feel at ease, I MEAN it. Though I was supposed to make an impression during my interview, it ended up being the other way round 8-D

@Jojo, are you a reapplicant? If memory serves me right, you had been posting last year in NYU thread

p.s Remember to close your mouth when you get awed by the classroom. It resembled my College Auditorium + Flat TVs. It's amazing! Have a nice time there and do remember to post your experience over there

Please continue the discussion here. I was forced to close the other thread because it was way off and getting too hot and personal.

Basically, from what I read in the last thread:

-Starting this year,NYU will be taking only ECE reports.
-For re-applicants who have submitted WES last year, its ok.
-NYU has not yet sent out any letters for interviews this year.

i hv been reading these posts frm smtime now.....can anyone here help me out....am planning to give my part one in july2006.......wt books shld i refer to.....how long does it take for ece to evaluate ur doccuments .... n if i hv to appear in july batch then when is the rt time to apply for the exam ...can v do it online?.......

Hit 0 right away and you will get a person on the phone who can answer your question. I can tell you that you will have to first apply on their website, www.ada.org and then follow the steps from there.

Hey Desi Dentist,interview went well.They were asking the usual Q.s nothing in particular.They asked me the foll- intro, challenge in life, a couple of qs on my resume, couple on my essay, & the rest was plain conversation.
