Ok so quick question:

As per FSMB website for IMG in NY:

"Domestic 1 year; 3 years IMG"

Does this 3 years mean I can apply in my PGY4 year, or does it mean I need 3 years of training from the date of my Step 3 pass (which means if I did step 3 in PGY3, I can only apply for NY license in "PGY6")?

This is what my PD thinks, but I thought it meant just after PGY3.....

Thanks,

It usually means after 3 years of completed training. You should have passed step 3 by the time of the application of course. I am an IMG in PGY-4 Psychiatry right now. Applying for a license.
