# of interviews for not matching

All of us know that people who matched last year went on an average of 7.7 interviews. How about the # of interviews for those that did NOT match? For some reason, I believe that this # is not much different from 7.7 interviews.

Does anyone have any anecdotal stories about how many interviews people who did NOT match had?
