I know it is still way early for this, but if you have your mind set on any particular school, please don't wait until May 15th to withdraw your acceptance from other schools. There are still plenty of us who are waiting to get interview/acceptance spots at those med schools.

I especially, am hoping that people drop UIC-Chicago campus after getting in their first choice school, so that me and others have a better shot of getting a spot in Chicago 😉

I'll be giving up my Rosalind Franklin acceptance if/when I get into UIC. (Have to keep at least one acceptance, right? 😛 )

Dr. Chiquita withdrew from Drexel, NYMC, Rosalind Franklin, Tufts, Einstein, UMDNJ-NJMS, SUNY-Brooklyn, Baylor, and Jefferson.

I'm only holding onto one spot at a time. 😀

That said, I withdrew from BU post-acceptance.

A number of schools took the liberty of withdrawing for me. They even let me know with a nice letter.

I withdrew from some of those schools because I didn't want to wait any longer. Some of them, I withdrew a long time ago, because I wanted to let others to grab those spots. Waiting is the most frustrating part of this process and we are all in this together, right? 🙂 Plus I think the school I will be attending as of now is going to offer me just as much or even more and that's why I decided to withdraw from those schools.

Drum roll pleaze 😉, I will be attending as of now UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School MD/PhD program jointly sponsored for a PhD degree by Rutgers, RWJMS, and Princeton. One of the reason I picked this school over those above is that I really got a good vibe from the school and where they are heading with the program. People were super duper nice. So I don't feel at a loss from dropping out of those schools. 🙂 My spot will go to someone who's more deserving. 👍
