Just letting you all know that I am also waiting on the coveted Wake acceptance and it certainly is great news that it is beginning to move. My roommate who I have been commiserating with all year about how our lives are ruined and our futures are over if our #1 post-undergrad choices don't come through just got the fellowship he wanted, and so I am the last one left who is unsure about my future. I am sure many of you feel the same way. It's gonna happen, I can feel it. May is gonna be a good month. Stay strong.

finals are over, and it's five days to may 15th...how's everyone doing in the sanity department? I'm thinking about treating my aching head with a good old irish remedy my grandma taught me...baileys!

For some reason, I am not in the "counting the days" mode yet. I think its because I have read SDN so much to know that the real WL movement seems to occur right after Memorial Day. However, I am still a nervous wreck😳

What does the fifteenth mean? Only that hopefully, 8 people would have forfeited their spots. But since this endless waiting is so long already, it's just another mile marker.

Hopefully we can follow in the footsteps of some of those really fortunate people last year, getting a call midafternoon, a nice email, or a nice letter on a Saturday. Getting accepted to medical school off a waitlist on a nice spring/summer day must be the greatest feeling.

(You can tell that I have thought about this a lot)

Sure, sounds great....though I think most of us would be just as happy to get that phone call or email in the middle of a nasty storm. HAHAHAHA, all of us without an acceptance are realllllly easy to please.

Hmm...according to that past waitlist thread all the schools I am waitlisted at historically start moving yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I'm so nervous. 🙁

i haven't decided i hope i have a week but as of now it's 75% pritzker 25% baylor because i don't think i wanna pay for med school no matter how cheap baylor is and how much i loved it. i loved pritzker almost as much and it's a lot less expensive in my situation. too bad baylor didn't talk to me 3 mos ago.

I totally agree. Baylor was one of my top choices after my interview day, but as the months dragged on without word...

It doesn't matter now anyay. Good luck on your decision though!
