Great idea! I just went and worked out. I needed to burn some stress, and some empty rejection calories I consumed over the weekend...😎
That would require healthy coping skills. Right now I'm just avoiding. 😀

I got an interview at Simon Fraser University. It was an email invite sent from the graduate secretary. First invite!!!
Congrats!!! What emphasis did you apply to?
Congrats!! Was it clinical phd at UIC? and can you tell me your POI? 🙂
I was finally accepting the fact that I wasn't getting any invites this time around...
... but I just received an email from a graduate admissions admin for UVA's Curry School interview on either Feb. 13th or 20th.
Huzzah! 😀
Anyone else heard from Rutgers yet? Or has anyone verified that today is, in fact, the last day for interview invites??
still haven't heard anything. are you planning on calling up?
Has anyone else gotten an invite from The University of Vermont? Are they still sending out invites?
Some people on here have mentioned contacting the department or theri POI to ask if there are any more interview invites being sent out or if it's all finished....What exactly do you say?
I really felt good about getting an interview at UMSL b/c of my scores would definitely be competitive given their averages and my interests were highly matched with my POI----I'm just wondering if there is any reason to believe yesterday's apparent mass mailing may not be over (sigh), and what to say if I want t find out.
I just got off the phone with the admissions person at St. John's... she said my application was sent to the committee on January 28th and she wasn't sure about when they would be extending invitations but she didn't think it would be before February 10th...![]()
Anyone heard from Boston University today?
I am waiting on Rutgers too! I cant stand this. For anyone who did not see my previous post about Rutgers, I was told about a week ago by the grad coordinator that they received a drastically larger number of applicants and their funding has been cut so they are not accepting as many students. I know this is NOT GOOD NEWS but we should all be prepared.
I was afraid this would happen.. This is a TOUGH year.
was anyone accepted anywhere yet? (or is that topic not touched?)
The real question is which of us is going to break down and call Rutgers and ask if it's all over.
Anyone heard from Boston University today?
I can assure you it won't be me. ;-)
An email with the details of the interview day was sent out this afternoon. (I got a call for an interview by the DCT last week). I called the clinical coordinator this afternoon with a question ane she asked if i'd gotten the email because it should have gone out to everyone they were planning to invite.
If I do call, I'm going to claim to be you, just to mess with your head.
But I'm not likely to call, so there's that.
Hey... Just spoke with someone at University of Texas at Austin, and she said that they are not yet done sending out invites. Apparently, the poi's handle all of their own invites, so the remaining invites should be going out in the next two weeks.!
Do you know when their interview dates are?
Hey Guys, I've been watching this thread for a while now, and my nerves have finally compelled me to post. Has anyone phone interviewed at Alabama? I did last Monday, and expected to hear from them by now, seeing as how the interview is in two weeks! Do you think I could email my PoI and ask him if they have made invites yet?
I hesitate to even say this, but Rutgers is really only mostly out. They told me when I called that they are done with this round of interviews and, if these interviews go well, that will be it. If they don't, they would consider doing another round. So Rutgers is out for me but I am happy that UT is not! I had already crossed it off my list. Austin is by far my favorite city in the US.
Wash U is the one in St. Louis, right?
