Duke rejection. apparently they solely desire permanent residents for their NIH funded positions. I am surprised as one would expect that non NIH funded positions would also be available. very disappointed. I hoped for at least a review of my application.

No, there is only one track (one option) in ERAS. I got the same email response and if you go to the Department website, they say they won't sponsor visa anymore.

I never used the message center. Email is nice because it leaves a paper trail, however as your schedule starts to book up, and programs only have 2 interview days, you might only be able to go to one of them. As they are first come first serve, sometimes calling right away may help.

Do not annoy any secretaries, they can and will blackball you.

Checking back on ADTS- none of the above programs which sent out IVS have downloaded my application yet. I have applied on 17, hope it was not too late. Fingers crossed.

They are pretty rare, and asking for an extra $40 is super tacky.

The only places I was told is Stanford, Hopkins, ucsf. I heard that ucla has something else you have to fill out but I wasn't able to find anything about it. I haven't heard from them. I haven't found any that you have to pay for.

Baylor college of medicine sent a generic email saying they'll review applications this Thurs. I guess this week will be quiet too.

I've yet to hear anything either, but a few more downloads trickled in yesterday and today...

I don't think we will hear much until next week, judging by past years' results. It seems as though it truly picks up mid August.
