I received the interview email on Aug 7, the interview packet on Aug 14, mailed my confirmation on Aug 17, and they received it on Aug 20. I'm from VA! Hope this helps!

You have to take the interview. If I had to guess, you would not be offered another interview because of the competitiveness of the OOS spots at UNC. It really stinks that they don't give you 2 choices. Talk to your coach, maybe the game can be rescheduled? In the mean time, keep checking flights, maybe contact a travel agent for this one. They might be able to get you a roundabout way back to school keeping in mind that travel time and whatnot probably won't work anyway with how long the interview might run, etc. This, unless of course, UNC isn't one of your top choices. Your stats are outstanding and being a varsity athlete on top of that is going to play in your favor. I'm assuming your communication/interview skills are up there too.

Congrats! Just wondering--when did you get the email from Maryland saying your entire application including supplemental is complete and under review?

So I got an email 6/18 saying my application is processed and will be forwarded to be under review. Then on 6/23 it changed to "under review".

I believe the person who said they got an interview from "UoP" earlier on meant University of Pennsylvania and not actually UoP. UoP just emailed everyone today, so they just started reviewing apps.

what is your residence? I havent seen any MW-IL. You may be the first few.

I'm actually surprised they emailed you, Arizona usually notifies from the portal. Idk about Illinois
