What interview date did they assign you? I'm just wondering so that I can see when I should anticipate scheduling other schools' interviews to avoid a scheduling conflict later down the road.
 
What is considered too late for pre-december interviews? I'm getting a little nervous here because I've only gotten one interview so far (UDM), which I'm very excited about, but I was kinda hoping for more by now. :/

My mail out date was 8/26/16.
GPA: 3.88 oGPA, 3.81 sGPA
DAT: 22AA/22TS/21 PAT/19 RC/None below 17

A friend of mine in her third year of dental school said Nov is when I should be worrying..regarding pre-Dec interviews. She said September is still pretty early 🙂

I just see people here with their 1st, 3rd, and 5th interview, and start to feel nervous that I wasted $1,000+ on my application this cycle. I'm extremely nervous as well - nothing we can change or do now, unfortunately...

Yes, I'm in camp one interview. I get stressed when I see people post #8 but then I get back to my own reality. I'm very grateful. Mostly everyone on SDN is qualified for dental in more than one way. Keep a positive mind, attitude, and thoughts. @Caution, you'll get something soon enough. Don't stress over the money. You will make money and lose money throughout your entire life. You can't take money with you in the afterlife.
 
Hey guys just remember that people are posting when they get interviews but what you don't see is the number of people following this thread that don't have any yet. There are a handful of people on here with a lot of interviews but there are SO many people who are still waiting. I've been to a couple interviews and the vast majority of applicants I talked to said they only have 1 so far and these are qualified 1st round applicants

Or rejections. I was already rejected by one school and then received three interviews to other schools.


Bottom line, until you get the rejection email /letter, you're doing alright.

I applied early August and have 3 interviews all OOS. Then again I applied to s lot of schools lol. It's still early, I bet you will hear back soon.

Mine was submitted mid July. Mailed out late July. 2 interviews.

Hey better more than less and not get any interviews lol. Good luck to you. I guess you can pick and choose but if you attend them all you really will maximize your chance of being able to pick and choose schools. Money lost but well worth it. So awesome!
