I was also thinking its due to electronic applications as well. No more "mail out date" because schools can see your application almost instantly
 
UCSF just denied me! I'm a little surprised to get such an early denial after getting two other interview invitations, I figured those meant my application was pretty strong, but maybe they just didn't think I was a match. I might give them a call or send an email to ask for feedback tomorrow if that's a good idea.

How does a denial come in? Do they call you or email you?
 
This whole process of awaiting the fate of our lives is so terrifying. I'm in a glass case of emotions &:?@"*#{!!

But congrats to all the UCSF invites!

I believe Nova only uploads applications once a week. The same thing happened to me

Actually, it was weird. I didn't receive an email, but I checked their portal randomly and it was giving me the option to schedule an interview. So I called the school this morning and they verified that I was invited for an interview and said that the email should have been sent out last night and to check my junk mail (it wasn't there). So I still haven't received the email, but I figured since she said I was invited it didn't matter

That feeling when you're still waiting for your school to send in that committee letter so schools can at least read your application :O
