How many IVs do you have? Because unless you have a dozen or so, the question should be would you rather not do GI at all or go to either one of those places.

UF is better but explain to Mayo Florida the situation and go to that one also if you can.
If not politely decline the offer now so the next person in line gets one.

Mayo is a great place to work so do not burn bridges.

Advice for tomorrow: Be your self, know the program , know why you want the position and make sure you have a smile and show appreciation for the field, ask questions regarding rotations and clinics. ask regarding procedure numbers if you want (but don’t ).

Be your self. Be amiable and tell them you are a team player.

Like this week or next week KUMC will most likely send invites or send again for interview dates on even Saturdays. If they haven’t already. Maybe my timetable is wrong, but I wholeheartedly believe more interviews will come.

The issue though is will come for people with 5 IVs or the ones with 13+
 
anybody here also participating in the Canadian match? I have a couple of interviews coming up there, wanted to get an idea of what to expect.
 
Does anyone know if UIC both campuses sent out IV invitations?
 
I've heard this at every interview so far, but can someone name some of the programs that only allow first years to do EGDs and not colons?

Did anyone get itinerary from MCW ? my interview is <1 week and I have had no communication from the program since the initial invite..

Hey guys, any UCSD candidates willing to switch dates? I have a huge conflict on 10/11 and would basically be willing to take any other date (preferably NOT 10/4)

I did when I applied. Even got the repatriation route offered.

Ok Howard is a safety net hospital.
You rotate at a an affiliated site for liver and advance procedure.
They are research heavy on microbiome and genetics of African American mutations causing colorectal cancer.
Not many IBD cases.
Recent fellows landed advance in UCLA and transplant in Hopkins.
But majority go into private outpatient.

Great team and set up for the GI program but they rank internal applicants first.
 
Any news from UIC, did they sent out interview invitations?
 
I ll update the IMGs invite list soon... have been very busy as I am on my ICU block + traveling . any input on Geisenger ? It seems like a solid program because they have 40+ faculty ...

Not to the exact date but the email will come Next week. I think they Will invite 60 people. Then some will decline since it will overlap with other interviews and they do not do this swap thing. Than they invite another set or tell people who get in touch with them come.

Out of 3 position 1 goes to internal for sure.
