It's that time of the year. Anyone took new Comsae recently? Hopefully it's more predicitve than old ones that were all over the place - like +/- 100 points.
Also, interesting to hear if this years comlex is indeed changed? If anyone took it recently - please share your experience. Especially if you can compare it to previous year one.

Does anyone know what percentage of people failed? Get my score back next week and really feel like I bombed it

Anyone have any inkling as to “percent right” and score correlations? Or is the algorithm they use to clunky to make things that
clear lol

I’m thoroughly stoked with these results, especially given that I had 10 days of dedicated before STEP and 5 days before COMLEX

UWS1 230 (February)
UW % 72%
NBME 16,18,17 230-238
UWS2 (1 week out) 237

STEP 233 (May 25)

COMSAE 101 (3 weeks out) 515
COMSAE 105 (1 week out) 578

Real deal... 678

Trust me there are a lot of people who want to be in your shoes.
P.S. Just out of scientific curiosity - what was biggest issue for you? Vague stems or timing?

Btw I want family med. was hoping for that. Timing was a factor for me...also I’ve always been a little bit of a dunce academically. But I worked hard to pass and I’m happy.

Also I made careless mistakes that I wish I didn’t make. I knew about 10 questions but second guessed . It prob wouldn’t make a huge difference.

470 comsae 104

407 comlex...a pass is a pass?

Family med for life

A pass is a pass and you won’t have to sit for this exam again so congrats with that.

Were you able to get through any of the qbanks and do UFAP? Your comsae of 470 is above average base on what many people were getting on those so curious if you feel like you had gaps in knowledge.

Yes got 52% UWorld first pass. Did 50% of second pass and got around 71%. Did a little combank omt omg and a little (400 qs COMQUEST)

Christ this sounds so much like me it's just not funny...and I easily missed at LEAST 10 gimmes that I can remember. I've got a $200 tequila just waiting to see a 400. Give it to me!

I’m curious to see what they say after the evaluation of the comsae scores that’s suppose to happen after July. It seems they’re not good predictors with people either doing way better or worse.

Lol of course they're not good predictors, they tested completely different content and were shorter. Nevermind the timing which alone can cause anyone to strike out (I know a speed-reader that took their whole time, though they actually managed to legit read through all the questions), the content on my exam was so alien compared to the COMSAEs I took, I don't believe them even a little. And the fact that they repeat the same questions basically skews you upward or downward. My exam definitely found something I hadn't realized I was weak on and triple-downed on it.
