Official ABIM Exam/study tools thread!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Congratulations!!
No email, no updates here. No sleep last night, feeling terrible. Has every one here received results?? Any one still waiting...
Thank you - I know multiple people in my program who haven’t received their results (very high probability they passed ) - I think this year it’s a random release of results - yours will come soon

Oh, and I got my score report, but the physician lookup site that is usually available first still doesn’t have me. Just email and score report.

Seems suffering will continue today🙁
Yeah I agree.. In this process I will MI, TIA, migraines, diarrhea, gastritis and conversion disorder.
If I go to ER, they can bill for all that..

Still waiting
Took mine Aug 17, OH. Anyone from OH got theirs?

I don’t think there’s a science to this. I have classmates that took the test a week after me in the same state and have their results before me.

No science, no pattern,
It’s called stupidity what they are doing..

With all the advancement in technology, I cannot comprehend how a test result of not even a million individuals cannot be released all at the same time.

Agree. This is so torturous...donot how to kill this killer time. Cannot sleep, eat or engage in anything. Have no anxiolytic to calm myself down...

Yeah. A bunch of us from OH received results. I don't think there is a particular order. Only thing I can guess is likely by our ABIM number or NPI.

Good for you all. Congrats. Im a second taker. I didn’t prepare at all in 2015.. I did this year, so this pass or fail means a whole ton.

Best wishes your way, I hope we all get good news soon.

Mine is similar situation.. seeing PASS there will change a whole lot for me.

Congratulations!!
Wow I got my pass email at 1:33 am. I spent very little dedicated time studying but did get through all of usmle during my 3rd year of residency. Read about 20% of MKSAP and didnt do questions. Felt pretty damn lousy coming out of test but surprisingly passed with flying colors.

Good luck to all still waiting.

With a name like that, you can't fail

people needed a 370 to pass the exam - historically pass rates 87-90% - so good chance you passed the exam for those who have not yet received their results

I'm losing it, officially will need to admit my self for psychosis...ahhhhh....this really should not be this stressful

This seems like the most agonizing and torturous exam reveal in history.

So it's not just me...with nausea, diaphoresis, palpitations, right sided chest pain, shortness of breath with insomnia and anorexia :nailbiting::nailbiting:

Over half of my class doesn't have results. 1/4 of us took it the same day at the same testing center and some have results while others don't. I don't think there's any reasoning behind what score is released when.

A colleague of mine took it 8/17 same test cwnter as me and is still waiting

Worst thing, some one with same last name and same first initial is certified already in 2017. That came up when I am looking for certification. But I don't have my result yet. its even killing me more. U name it, I have all the symptoms, nausea, diarrhea, palpitations, chest pain, everything..

Stay strong, it will be over soon...hopefully will end up with a good news for all of us.
