Thanks! I was so nervous. Was scoring in the 20-30 %ile on my ITEs, and actually running a startup since residency so was working like 100+ hours / week also. Was studying during lunch, in between meetings, while driving, etc. and just exhausted. This is such a relief (and the startup is more stable now too).

Meh, maybe not when I'm certified in my sub specialty. Most of the academic subspecialists I know let internal medicine lapse Bc it doesn't matter.
That being said maybe I'll bump this post in 10 years and eat crow lol

Quick run down on study strategy:
Uworld qbank twice: 66%, 90%
Mksap qbank 17 x 1: 73%
Medstudy questions: 80%, but only did 1/4 of q's
Did over 2500 questions in total.
Safely passed with 1 s.d. above mean. First attempt
Didn't do any board review courses.
The test is forgiving as I made at least 15-20 silly mistakes and thought I failed as a result.

For whatever it's worth, I felt like I did horrible when I walked out. Did MKSAP twice over the 3 years of residency, skimmed Board Basics the weekend before the test, and did 500 UWorld questions (I meant to do it all but I got too busy with fellowship and research - I was getting ~65% correct I believe). I did well on the ITEs, >90% all 3 years but felt like boards were significantly harder.

Another lurker here. Took test on 08/16; received my score report on 10/23 @ 5:42 pm dated 10/03. Passed on first attempt. Decent residency program. I did terrible on ITEs all three years and was expected to fail. I started reading board basics and did corresponding question set on MKSAP 16 towards the second half of third year. Finished MKSAP 16 by June. Working 40 hours per week, went through entire MKSAP 17 twice and most of the board basics again from June-August. I had no doubt I failed walking out of the testing center. I think the test is actually pretty forgiving. MKSAP and board basics is enough in my opinion.
Long time lurker. Cannot sleep waiting for these results. Took the test 8/18 on west coast.
Failed last year (got a 369, passing was 370) so a lot is on the line...here's hoping the wait will be over soon!

Got my email 3:00 AM. Passed comfortably, although I did drop from my ITE scores. For reference, I was only able to read 1/4 mksap and do that many questions as I had an unexpected life event leading up to it. Stayed up all night before because of severe anxiety, and after taking, was sure I was going to re-take.
What I would do differently:
If you’re someone that does well on ITE, I would scratch reading mksap and read their very high yield board basic book. Do mksap and (from what I hear) uWorld questions. Annotate important notes from questions into board basic. Review these notes multiple times. You should be golden.

Passsss! Just got it. Good luck anyone still waiting. My strategy was only usmle world x1 and then redoing flagged and wrong questions x1. I used nothing else and I passed in mid 500s. Now if you'll excuse me, I plan to never return to this thread and finally get some sleep.
