In the continuing spirit of the tradition started last year, we will hold this as your official countdown til score release thread. You can use this as a countdown, but may also post in here general conversation if you are just going insane over this wait. Also, this may not be an exact of when the scores will come out, but we don't know how many days before the official 60 days are over they will come out. Last year, they came out around June 15th at 10pm. But this will give us a rough approximation.

Ok, let the fun begin.........

59 days and counting........

Lets pray for all of you and for my very best roommate, and two of my other bestest friends. 😀 May all come with good news in the following two months.

This is for the neurotic ones who just need somewhere to vent their frustration over the wait. 😛

I was kind of hoping for the 15th. I know that it isn't going to come true, but I thought that the 15th was a TOTALLY reasonable day for the scores to come out.
over 50 days from the test day, middle of the work week...seriously now aamc.
Anyone else sort of have the 15th in the back of their mind?

man, I wish I had kids.....applying to medical school with kids is just badass, I don't know how you do it, i'm a spoiled college kid with no worries and i'm stressing about this stuff, I can't imagine trying to study for the MCAT with a baby on your hands

Awww! I remember seeing that picture awhile back and thinking how pretty she was!

I think she kinda looks like the kid version of Anne Hathaway--the girl on The Princess Diary and The Devil Wears Prada...know who I'm talking about?

It's not about it being more effective. It's about it being FASTER. :idea: When I took the GRE, they had optional CAD versus pencil and paper, so I took the computer one. It was great. I got my scores then and there, as soon as I was done. 😎 That was ten years ago; not sure if they still do it that way now.

I took an experimental computer based version of the MCAT in London in August of 2002. It wasn't adaptive. It looked just like the paper and pencil version, but you clicked on the answer instead of filling in the oval. I preferred it to the paper and pencil version that I took this past April, except that organic chemistry mechanisms were presented in a small window and you could not see the entire mechanism at once. Beyond that, it was nice not to have to worry about about eraser marks, poor timing on the part of proctors, etc. You could move forward or backward so skipping problems was not an issue. In fact, there was a summary screen that would show you if you had done a problem or marked it as one to come back to.

And we got our scores back in one month, a boon that I didn't fully appreciate until this last three weeks.

God...i hope my wife doesnt see this...we have 2 boys and they are a handfull however, she still wants to try for a girl ....I told her maybe after medical school( i hope)
They are beautiful girls

They give just me more motivation to do my best. If I'm going to be spending so much time away from them, I'm going to do the best I possibly can.

And then there are days that I imagine going to classes all day will just be a welcome break from the kids! :laugh:

LOL Just go for it during medical school. 🙂

Everyone asks us if we are going to have another to try for a boy. I think other people's boys are great, but I'd be scared to have one of my own. All the little boys I know are such dare devils.

He looks like an abused boy...I know people look at us funny sometimes...I am like "what ???he is a litle boy!!"

lol they will post then, the website will crash/be so unbelievably slow that no one will be able to get their scores until wednesday at that time...

LOL, my three year old got a bruise on her face last week when she fell onto the coffee table (*ouch*). I thought for sure I was going to get comments when I took her out.

But kids have to be kids! They always seem to have bruises and scrapes.

Yay! We have a girl on the way!

It's wierd, I never wanted to have a girl (boyfriends, wedding, etc,) but after our son was born that changed. Wierd.

My husband wanted a boy when I was first pregnant. Then he was thrilled with his little girl and we both hoped the second would be another girl.

Geez, it doesn't seem like too long ago that I was thinking, "Eh, I still have 6 months left until the MCAT. I have Pleeeenty of time to study!" Now it's over and yet the stress is still there!

Thats funny...here is how it happened for me
Walking out of the MCAT==29-34
1 week post MCAT==28-30
2 weeks post MCAT=23-27
3 weeks post MCAT==20-25
4 weeks until now...Did I take a test??? What was my name again :laugh: :laugh:

I was the exact opposite... I felt HORRIBLE after the test, but now I'm getting my hopes up, we'll see where it gets me... 🙂

all of your babies are sooooo adorable... i just want to eat them up!! haha... umm not in a creepy way! :luck: :luck: :luck: everyone!!! i'm going nuts.. hope you all aren't... i decided i want to get a 40.. not because of the score but so that i can have a party and everyone can bring me "40"s hahaha ... anything above a 30 would be BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! 👍
