In the continuing spirit of the tradition started last year, we will hold this as your official countdown til score release thread. You can use this as a countdown, but may also post in here general conversation if you are just going insane over this wait. Also, this may not be an exact of when the scores will come out, but we don't know how many days before the official 60 days are over they will come out. Last year, they came out around June 15th at 10pm. But this will give us a rough approximation.

Ok, let the fun begin.........

59 days and counting........

Lets pray for all of you and for my very best roommate, and two of my other bestest friends. 😀 May all come with good news in the following two months.

This is for the neurotic ones who just need somewhere to vent their frustration over the wait. 😛

Just out of curiosity, is anybody else passing any spare time with Final Fantasy? If so, which one(s)? I'm working toward the end of VII and then going to watch Advent Children, but I'll be an informed man before I get there.

I've decided that I'm going to buy a bottle of wine for as many dollars as my score adds up to... Here's hoping for a really nice bottle of wine 😀

Zimmie - This is a GREAT idea!!

That's was me! 🙂 Genius or mad? 😕 I'll let you decide. 😀

Genius. Without a doubt. Especially compared to my busting out the Windows calendar for my meager contribution to the panic in this forum. I'm just lucky Taylormade didn't beat me to the task 😉

Those scores have to be Iowa's most valuable export.

They should start a tourism industry up there. I want to see this place with my own eyes.

Using the Windows calendar is a smart use of your resources. I hate it at school where they have locked down the calendar so you can't even view it.

I wonder if it's this stressful to wait for the USMLE scores? 😕

*raises hand*
FF11 completely gobbled all my time up, so I gave it up 😛

I've had a craving to replay 7 (the best!) and will do so soon, but i have settled for playing old NES and N64 games for now 😀

Top played NES so far: Zelda, Megaman2, Punch-out, and Contra. Simple, yet sweet. Super Smash Bros when I feel like pwning something :meanie:

MCAT scores? Personal Statement? What're those? :scared:

so close!!

i reeeeeeeaaaaly think that by this time tomrrow night, we will be looking at our scores.....feel free to make fun of me when im wrong

You can always ask Arsenic if you want an answer to that one. He's going through that wait right now. 😉

I would seriously go clean your house. It's odd - cleaning relaxes me.

I decided to save my kitchen floor for tomorrow, though. But I gave all three dogs baths instead.

Are all moms genetically programmed to accept cleaning as relaxing? My mom cleans on her days off, too. 😛

I usually resort to cleaning/organizing my desk whenever I'm avoiding something important that I have to do. Liiiike, apply for schools or study for a test :meanie:

If you want to be an informed man and stay busy until Tuesday night, check out wikipedia's FF entries, but only if you've finished the games.

i'm not a mom, and i definitely think cleaning is relaxing. it's kinda weird, i guess, but i like it. i think it's related to a desire to have everything nice and clean, and not necessarily related to the act of cleaning itself (though that usually leads to having things nice and clean).

Must be something that happens during pregnancy. You should have seen my apartment when I lived by myself in college. It was disgusting! I never, ever would have guessed that I would keep a fairly clean house.

Less than 4 hours left to test that theory. 🙁

ahhh...those mcat people are enjoying their late night kfc chicken. I doubt there is a webmaster at work right now.

this has to be the best post i've ever seen   👍

I can't believe someone honestly took the time to write about policies as mundane as the ink color for the writing sample. It must be the stress, but I found it uproarious.

It excites me greatly to see your location as "State College, PA." I know we already discovered that we both go to Penn State, but it's reassuring to have evidence that there is someone a couple minutes up the road from me who is feeling the exact same thing I'm feeling.

was anyone this nervous and anxious for their SAT scores?

I don't even remember waiting for mine...they just came and I hardly cared

My dad picked me up from school one day and told me my scores. I think he was more anxious than I was...I can't imagine how I'd react if he did that to me for my MCAT scores. I was worried they'd come in the mail this weekend when I wasn't home and my mom would open the envelope. I would have killed her.

lol are you trying to say something about the demographics of the aamc?

no no no, hehehee I am refraining from any more remarks. I am scared enough about my score being manipulated by someone.

i was...the only difference was i was only concerned for 1 night....i stayed up late to wait for the refresh, and they came like 1230 AM the morning they were supposed to

mcat needs to be more like the college board, only without the screw ups

yea same here! when the score is released i'll meet you at cafe210, first round's on me!

I learned that I'll have to get special permission from the AAMC to ever take the MCAT again.
that's ridiculous...i know they have that policy for people who have taken the test 3 times already, but both your first and second tests are not valid anymore, so they should cancel!

I took the ACT and did not care either.
I should have--cared--considering I was applying to some good schools, but luckily, with an angel's help, everything was ok.
mcat, on the other hand, is a totally different brooo-ha-ha

so what did everyone get on their sats anyway why not poll
I vaguely remember getting an 1170 on my SAT, which wasn't good back in 1989 (but enough to get into college). But, isn't the SAT scale different nowadays? I sorta remember the max score you could get was a 1400 back then. 😕
