***Official April 2006 Score Release Countdown Thread***

In the continuing spirit of the tradition started last year, we will hold this as your official countdown til score release thread. You can use this as a countdown, but may also post in here general conversation if you are just going insane over this wait. Also, this may not be an exact of when the scores will come out, but we don't know how many days before the official 60 days are over they will come out. Last year, they came out around June 15th at 10pm. But this will give us a rough approximation.

Ok, let the fun begin.........

Lets pray for all of you and for my very best roommate, and two of my other bestest friends. 😀 May all come with good news in the following two months.

This is for the neurotic ones who just need somewhere to vent their frustration over the wait. 😛

I was wondering the same thing. See the URL has a .cfm which is coldfusion right? So it's server side scripting which dynamically generates the page. Which means refreshing should fetch new data every time - yes?

The people at AAMC have had enough time to drag their groggy selves into work, have meaningless smalltalk with their coworkers, check their e-mail, get that extra cup of coffee from the breakroom, and now are about to sit down and get to publishing the April 2006 data! Come on, ye lazy bastards!

my heart skips a beat every second i think about mcats, its almost like being at the top of a roller coaster looking down to the first hill you're about to go down, and its slowly creeking over the edge.

My advisor said they never update it on a Monday- after the weekend, they run a few tests on the servers, so I'm betting we get nothing new today. (She said this before the June 20 date was released.)

strangely enough, i woke up today and was incredibly calm. we made it 58+ days, and now we only have a matter of hours left. nothing we can do at this point will change our score. to all.

I would love to see those data tables updated any time now... Although I think it'll be really distressing to be looking at averages and all and not knowing where I fall...

Yeh, unfortunately I don't think that the actual data itsself will be that helpful until we get our scores. Grrrrrr. At least we would know that things are moving forward though.

No clue. I think when I took it last time (Aug 2003) they came out in the middle of the week, but I was away and wasn't terribly concerned with scores, so I could be wrong. (Yes, how I wasn't concerned? I don't know!!) I also think that was the first time they were released online, but I'm not positive on that one either.

I called the AAMC right now and they said that they havent been told what time the scores will be released. She said to try after midnight or after 9 am tommorow....i have a feeling that the scores wont be up until sometime tommorow afternoon....making my next 24 hours HELL!
