So I have seen posts on the 20th and the 16th but nothing for the 14th. I can't wait to get this over with, counting when my kaplan course started I will have been MCATting (not a word) since October and I can't take it anymore. Most frusturating part is that I didn't have that much time to restudy, but at least I got a seat. Anyway, who's ready to take it, I know facts cold but anytime I think about the test my left arm goes numb and my face droops a little. If only I didn't get that 7 in verbal on June 15th+pity+ (I apologize for abusing smiley faces in my posts there just so cool)

Another freaken day of this Bull****?!! I AAMC is a complete and utter failure. I want 6.67 % of my money back, since they delayed. Give me my money bastards.

LOL why 6.67%?

I can't believe this why did they not post our scores will be delayed earlier. They had to have known, they just had to. ARRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!

i really want to send them an email telling them they completely suck at life and suck even more at conducting themselves as a consumer-conscious business. friday the 14th my ass. EFF THE AAMC!

Someone mentioned the 8/6 scores were delayed 20 hours. Anyone know what AAMC initially said their delay would be? Maybe we'll still get ours tomorrow...

They didn’t realize that our scores would be so high, so it’s taking AAMC longer to add them up than anticipated… since they count on their fingers. Lots of 45s I tell ya! 😀

their release was suppose to be on a wednesday.... they delayed and said they hope to have it out by that friday. they got their scores on thursday.

It was before 2 PM Eastern on Thursday if I recall correctly.

Sorry to everyone who has to wait... it's not fun.

Precisely. Here is what was said to August 6th test-takers: "We expect to release scores for the August 6th, 2007 exam by close of business on Friday, September 7th, 2007." They received their scores on Thursday, September 6th around 1:30 pm.

Now look at what AAMC said to us: "The scores for August 14 exam are slightly delayed. We hope to release them Friday, September 14 by 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)." It seems that although it's possible they'll be released Thursday, a Friday release is more likely.

i've been waiting for a 'perfect score' phone call from the aamc.
more than likely when i log on to thx tomorrow not expecting my scores, they will be up and i will dfo. i guess ill hook myself up to a defibrillator in advance. hmmm... shock advised. *pushes but

I definitely need some defibrillator action...I can't beleive I am still so nervous. I don't usually freak out this badly :scared: 😳

Tuesday night I had a dream that I got a 22 total, but that I got a 17 on one of the sections. wtf

Bad dreams again last night...

Have they not posted yalls scores yet??? man imma be pissed if they dont get my Sept 8th on time. The wait is already killing me

I guess a lot of August 9 people still haven't gotten their scores, it seems more and more likely Friday at 5 pm is our date. I just hope they don't push it even further to like next week.... 😱

There's no way they'll push it until next week. I'm sure that they cushioned the time frame to make sure they don't have to delay the scores again. Plus people from the 9th have got their scores back, some people got them before 7 last night. I heard that there were just a ton of people who took the test and it's taking forever to load them. I don't think they're actually doing anything with the curves or grading. I think they'll be here tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.

You guys will get a kick out of this one. I was so angered yesterday that in the heat of the moment I sent a ranting email to AAMC. This is how they responded.

My Email:
Wow, you guys are real competent. Why not announce the delay in the
morning instead of making everyone suffer through the whole day just to be
told to wait "SLIGHTLY" longer, aka 2 whole days...This is a farce.
This is unacceptable for the 200 dollars that I have paid, and I would
like an explanation why the score delay was not announced earlier today?


Their Response:

Hello,
Thank You for contacting the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT)
program.
We were not aware until later in the day that there would be a delay in
the scoring.
Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.



So apparently they didn't know. This could have two implications. If it is true then that means that they are pretty close to finishing the scoring since they thought they would finish right up till 5 yesterday. This could imply that we could get our scores today. But if this is false then it just reinforces that AAMC loves to BS people.


In any case, I got a good kick out of it.👎

sry... i'm still lurking, but there's nothing i can do about this one. It was back to class to make the a's this morning. Hopefully I'll have better luck in April if I dont get an interview at my stateschool. Surely 6 more prereqs will help... :laugh:

i called them today, and the woman who answered the phone said that she has no information about the test other than what's posted on the website. she then offered to read it to me. i wanted to slap her through the phone. lol

OK guys...I think everyone shld just relax...coming to think about it , Friday is just tomorrow....I understand everyone is eager....but just take a deep breath tomorrow is just around the corner...........lol....I must confess I am eager myself..but that will not change anything......gluck guys....lol

i called and aamc says that thompson prometric does all the grading, so they don't know what is going on right now. damn prometric testing inc. !

Maybe the AAMC should consider hiring another testing company. I agree with MrMilad, what is Thomson Prometric's phone number?

EDIT: 1-866-PROMETRIC (866-6387) may be able to help. I can't find AAMC or MCAT listed on the drop-down menu here.

Um someone choked hard on SDN. PROMETRIC does not grade the tests, AAMC does. I just spoked with Prometric and they told me that AAMC is the grading entity, and they are the ones that need to be contacted regarding score releases.

that's odd. I just spoked with AAMC and they told me that Prometric is the grading entity, and they are the ones that need to be contacted regarding score releases.
