I think I made the wrong decision. I just got off the phone with Dr. Hanes at MCG and she is so sweet and is making me rethink going to Temple. I need someone to tell me something bad about MCG!!!!! Sorry, I am just venting.

GTChick, there is nothing bad to say about MCG. I'm am so glad I got accepted. Not even a question in my mind that's where I want to go.
MCG does tons of clinical work; there are always long lines of patients waiting to be treated in the student clinics. Over 15% of the profs have a DMD in addition to a PhD. And MCG is so cheap!!! You can get out of school with practically no debt, and that really expands the options you have after school. (Unless your parents are just filthy stinkin' rich.)
I already live in Augusta, and the cost of living is inexpensive too. Also, I have a friend whose brother went to Temple, and he says they had to get a police escort when coming home from the labs at night (YIKES!). Hope you make the right decision for you, and maybe I'll see you in the fall.

Sometimes Money has to be put on the back burner to so you could be happy. You always preached that you should go to the cheapest school. ADEP is a great program, but I am happy that you chose a school not based on tuition but where you will be happy. Likewise I made my decision in the same way.

Four years is a long time. AZ is hot. AZ has everything from A to Z. I hope you have a blast.

Desi, I hear ya! I was actually lucky enough to receive a private scholarship, which will cover 80% of my tuition throughout each of the four years. Arizona turned out to be the cheapest school for me!

Well, I finally made my decision although it was a hard one. I got the top scholarship to Penn, Pitt and CWRU. I choose to stay at Pitt for the next 4 years. They have been very good to me so far and I really enjoyed the interview and tour. It also worked out to be the cheapest school of all those I applied. Best of luck to everyone.
