South College decided to find someone who could subvert the accreditation requirements:

Hire a Lawyer for a Dean - Lie after lie…lie after lie, and more lies to the ACPE. Dr. Gregory Boyer does not give a damn, his nest egg is getting bigger as the Pharmacy bubble expands. The man betrays the quality of pharmacy and students. It is the pharmacy students who must stand up to these old men crucifying your future.

The mess at South college

• Payment for non-existent technology. Most of the 'technology' you are paying for at South college is the same that will be found at any state schools (web clicker). But be reminded that Tn is among the least medically tech-savvy states, so even if you carry your gadgets to rotation, you will be asked to put them away.
• To fool ACPE and appear as though they are preaparing students better, most courses are split into several independent classes.
• Hold students in class to justify tuition - Literally, students cannot leave buildings until 4:30pm. That is what is reported to ACPE
• Charge students for donated items (diabetic teaching supplies)
• Whole classes failing in medicinal chemistry & pharmacology; pushed foward to graduate. In last year, a mandatory $300 sign up for NAPLEX coaching.
• Anyone who wants to become a pharmacist is welcome to South college (Including ex-felons)

Steve South (owner of South College) has a brother who had an affiliation with South University (another for-profit), one of the schools sued for shady practices (James Magazine Lawfirm in Florida). Their finances were doing very badly before they began the Pharmacy school game. 100% admission rate; check the internet.
