Not that I took the MCAT or anything, this past August, but just because I feel like you all should have a thread like the one Crazy Cav had for us in April..........

I just logged into the MCAT Thx system (I took the August 2004 MCAT as well as this August's), and it says that the scores should be finalized and available on Friday, October 14, 2005. I know I'm a nerd for checking to see if the scores up a lot even though they aren't, but at least I found this out! 😛

I think HopeFaith put my feelings into words just about right...there IS a feeling of anxiety, but at the same time, I just KNOW I'm gonna have to take it over again...(sigh) why must life be so hard? 🙄 But then, someone once said, "All things are difficult before they are easy." But seriously, what's the point in the end? We're all gonna die anyway...and then what?

Sheesh...sorry for sounding so pessimistic, guys.

Look buddy, no need to feel so down in the petunias!!! Taking the test over is not the end of the world. It's really not about how hard you fall, but rather how fiercely you rise up again. The point IS that greater rewards come to those that work towards them. As others have mentioned... the MCAT is just but one test among the many that we will be faced with in our future careers. All the more reason to give 110% all day and every day. 😀 But in the end, if we never fail, then we never grow. So who knows, you and HopeFaith could have nailed the test

, but if not, learn what you can from failure and then kick it hard for the next (April) administration. Hang in there, pessimism is for those who have already given up 😡 But I'm done with the words of encouragment... soooo not my style 😎 :laugh:

A chick in a white coat does not necessarily need to be a doctor. It could be a scientist or a med tech. They where white coats and scrubs in the hospital as well.

👍 Thanks for the words of encouragement, whatupdoc! 😎 It did kinda put me in a good mood after I read your post...even though it may not seem like your style, it's all the more reason why you'd be a great doctor. So keep at it, and I'll hopefully be better soon once these damn scores finally come out, even if I did do horrible. But whatever, as you said, it isn't the end of the world if I gotta take 'em over again. Once again, thanks for the encouragement. 😀

oH!! I have studied darn hard for the last MCAT that I feel so confident that if I have retake it again. I have started studying. first Phy chapter down. and, two some gchem and two bios and two ochem ... just kidding.. yeah.. saturday morning.. I go volunteering at the hospital,,, and laundry and some grocery stuff... so I was not gone...Hold on be back in half an hour.

Wow!! Guju.. thats a long range for the scores to be released. Give some specific time if you know. Well. I will keep on checking the computer for about every second and every minute after the 10PM on October the thirteen. :laugh:

Last but not least, um I say dont push too much hard on yourself thinking about MCAT scores because when I did that. I thought I was going to explode my brain, but I did not. I am hanging there with some good friends and good encouragements, great advice thanks.
