question: seems like Case has made a lot of interview decisions this morning, but if we don't get one do schools at least tell you right away, or is it like the thousands of job applications I've done lately and they never get back to you? Thanks

Usually they tell you eventually. I actually received a rejection today from Case because they want me to retake the DAT which Im not going to just for that school with a 19PAT and 20AA I feel fine. There loss

Yeah definitely not worth retaking, I have 20AA too but heard nothing. Oh well plenty more schools

Did they flat out reject you? Because i too got a 20AA but they put my application on "hold" because they want me to retake the DAT! I called them and they told me its because one of sections, reading is low. They viewed me as a competitive applicant but ill receive further consideration if i retake the DAT and do better on the reading. But i dont feel like going through it again just for that one stupid section.

But still not a rejection right?

Wouldn't it be awesome if you were allowed one a la carte re-do of just one section of your DAT that you had to take within 30 days of the original DAT and it was double the questions of that section? Of course. But that messes up the whole system. I'm just bitter about my OC score still.

hahaha that would be awesome! at least OC is manageable to improve on in limited time...reading is something you acquire during a lifetime...what bs 👎

Does Case send you a rejection email or an actual letter? I applied in early June..pretty sure I was part of first batch and haven't heard anything other than they have received my application. Im guessing i'll hear back either way soon? Is no news good news?

I'm also missing 1 out of 3 LOEs...I have the 2 from professors in, but waiting on the dentist to submit.

I'm guessing my application is incomplete? 😡 I hate that we have so little control over things like this...yet it makes all the difference.

If you don't mind me asking...how'd you do on the OC section? That's was my lowest...mostly due to time constraints. (I got an 18...😡)

anyway back to this case stupidity...they never said that they had a cutoff or suggested scores anywhere! to just pull it on us like this last minute is kind of lying if you ask me 😡 honestly man they can go suck it but im just worried about that mentality of schools around

I am on flying in the day before the interview, renting a car, and flying out the night of the interview. I did this for 3 of my interviews 2 years ago and works out pretty well.

I don't believe anyone has heard back from Temple. They are laggin behind. Don't know about the other schools sorry.

interview date is 8/19. flying in day before from cali, flying out the evening of interview date. probably going to take that bus from airport to hotel and maybe taxi to school.

Also flying out from Cali! Going to be flying out from San Francisco. I haven't looked into flights yet, but I hope the timing works out since flight across the country takes a while. My interview is August 15th, and I am thinking about one of the hotels they listed on the link from the email. I will have to look up to see which is the cheapest hotel. I wish I did not have this 10 page paper to write right now.

The email says the interview officially ends at 1 PM, but we should leave some time to check out the school/Cleveland. When do you think the earliest we should book our flights out? I am thinking 4PM the earliest if you don't want to be rushed?

In case anyone was thinking about renting a car from one airport and dropping off to another, they raise the price of the rental by like 100 dollars! At least for Enterprise-Rent-a-Car that is what I am seeing. So my plan to fly into Akron and out from CLE international backfired.

I also got an invite from Case...haven't scheduled it yet though. I will be calling today so I will write the date in later. I'm glad they do it before the school year starts though because when I saw they only do it during the week I was nervous about how school would conflict.

Interview dat is September 26th for me....looks like I will have to miss a day of school.

Im not even really sure how i got invited. Im still shocked. Im driving since its only a 2.5 hour drive for me from MI.

Congrats!!! You must have some excellent qualities they are looking for other than those stats.
When was your AADSAS application transmitted?

And, does case send out application completed e-mails? Just wondering...

BTW, I got NYU's rejection letter in mail last month (June) for last year's cycle.
They had almost 5000 applicants...

Probably. My mail date was 6/27 and received BU supplemental a few days later. I submitted my supplemental early last week.
