Oh gotcha. Its just that my friend checked his addsas today at around 10 and it wasnt updated and then when he checked it again an hour later it was updated and he was invited for an interview. Well hopefully tomorrow will bring some good news haha

Accepted to NYU late Friday.
I liked the school. Honestly, I don't understand all the NYU hate on SDN, as I thought the facilities were better there than many of the other schools where I interviewed (I had 9 interviews). I found the faculty we spoke with, and the people involved with the tour, to be helpful and genuine. I understand some people might not like the cost or the feel of NYC, but I think the school itself gets an undeserved bad rap on here. I encourage anyone that gets an interview offer to NYU to go in with an open mind and give it a chance. Anyway, just my two cents.
Tufts is my top choice, though, and I was accepted earlier last week. I'm still set on going there, so I will be declining the NYU offer.
I hope one of you gets the spot.👍

NYU has a fabulous curriculum, it's just the price tag that upsets people but other than that the only other possible complaint would be the class size.
Congrats dentist95757 on acceptance. When did you interview at UOP and Tufts? Which is your first choice? Good luck 🙂

UOP was 1/23 and Tufts was 2/2.
Haven't really thought of which one would be my first choice, but I never thought I would have multiple acceptances, so it's a good problem to have I guess, they're both very good schools, so i'd have to do a lot of thinking.

Just got the call for a UoP interview on Feb 23rd as an alternate! Submitted my app end of Aug. Got the "Final Review allow 4-6 weeks" status on Jan 26th.
ditto to both. it seems like a great school, but my only issue is that dental and med students are separated completely. I know only 4 schools integrate them, so its actually quite common to separate them but I am not a fan of that. there's also no textbooks, which im not happy about - im oldschool haha.
its likely a great school, but just not my choice. the number of patients they see is mindboggling, considering every student has 20ish patients assigned to them.
I will be sending a deposit. They said at the interview that they still have spots left and are still interviewing for a little while longer.
