what tine did you receive the interview email? Just now?

Yup. According to KenKim on another thread, USC interview e-mails started rolling in about an hour ago.

Can't wait for mine... have my phone on LOUD so I can hear when that e-mail trickles in 👍:luck:😍

ah that's disappointing! I was hoping to get one tonight...hopefully tomorrow!

This.

A thousand times.

Sorry, I've been freaking out since the first batch of e-mails was sent out and my phone didn't vibrate

It will be a nice way to start the morning though 😀

when is your interview and were you given a lot of dates to choose from? Or since you have other interviews you're only free in november for instance and choice is limited.

my interview is on the 17th of nov. I was given the option of two dates.

I've noticed a few of you with great stats announcing ASDOH denials... I got one too but I read the letter again and I think it's denial letters for this the class of 2015 (last year's cycle)... right? Check your letters! It might not be a denial for this year.

That's because ASDOH is not looking for great stats. Look at the ADEA book, look at their average stats. They're relatively low compared to other schools.

They are looking for community leaders, people who are devoted to helping people... for free.

They want applicants to have 8,000+ community service hours to be considered competitive. Yes, re-read that. 3 zeros, it was not a typo.

So, even with 30/30/30 4.0, you might still get rejected without any community service hours.

Lol, no it's only 2 zero's buddy. 800 hours.

That's pretty attainable if you are the community service type that don't do it for the hours.

according to Indiana, 500 hours of community service "worries them very much" (i.e. baby number). It's not just arizona..

I have Interviews at Penn, Nova, Columbia, UCSF, ASDOH, UNLV, MUSC, Maryland . (In order of receiving them)

I am a Michigan Resident, and am yet to hear from University of Michigan--my first choice. My chances of getting into Michigan should be statistically waaay better than any other school (they accept about 60% in-state), so I am a bit perplexed. I know they've sent out a good number of interviews, but alas I've heard nothing. Think I have a chance of getting one?? I submitted my application ~June 15.

Or does anyone know of any schools on this list that they've heard esp. bad things about that would influence my decision to interview there? I haven't done much research into these schools, besides michigan...ironic haha.

Hey just wondering.. why USC is one of your top choice? There are previous threads where I read some students don't like the school. And they were borderline accredited with revisions. But that was a couple years ago so do you know if USC have changed their system and program?

Congrats to the USC interviews. I hope I can get one too! It's a favorite for me.👍😍

did anyone that scheduled interview at usc have their status change in the usc application status portal? mine's still received under review

USC is one of my top choices because I live 20 minutes away from the school

Omg yoon

You have a chance to go to a school of your choice. Why USC? the most expensive school in the us. Choose something cheaper 🙂

You know that u will be looking at 400k in debt when u walk out of USC right?

i thought it's wayyy more for international students?

Is it too quick for me to assume that USC has filled up their pre-dec interviews?

I would love to attend a school with a cheap tuition, but since i am an international student, no matter where i get in, I have to pay nonresident tuition for 4 years. And it actually doesnt make any differences. I am living with my parent so if i go to USC i can save living expenses and etc. Also it is really hard for me to get into state school.
UCSF rejected me

If I'm not mistaken, they accept all of their interviewees. While I can't guarantee anything, and if you bombed the interview or fell off the chair when the told you to sit down (who knows, maybe that will help you out?) but history shows that in the past few years, interview:acceptance rate is 100%
