Did you really only apply to 3 schools? That's awesome (and risky!!). Good luck!

Anyone else hearing anything lately from Louisville?

**Also, I propose that we add INTERVIEW DATE to all of these posts. I would like to know that from everyone.

Jedi, I just looked up the 2010 thread after thinking the same thing. There was still a lot of activity last November, NYU and Temple were the ones that sent out invites for November dates, during November. There's still hope and each student/situation is unique.

I'm keeping my :xf: for Stony Brook, UMDNJ, Uconn and Temple!

Interviews have def slowed down a ton

Experiencing withdrawal bad over here! lol
 
My first interview is for UNLV! I just started looking at this forum and thought I ought to add my info as well. Also If you are interviewing at UNLV on the 12th or 13th of January let me know!

lol i do feel you man. October was a pretty damn good month for me, I got like 5 interviews LOL I hope to hear back from at least one or two more schools.

But when you think about it. its like boxing, It aint over... till its over. You might still get post-Dec interviews and acceptances. And technically you might hear back from your #1 choice a few weeks before class starts or even the week of and have your whole life changed overnight. Its similar to winning the lottery... you just wake up one day and your whole life changes!

Quite amazing when that happens!
 
My app wasn't 100% complete until 9/27 and my AADSAS was submitted 7/22. For submitting so late, I wasn't expecting to get invites so quickly.

10/21 - Midwestern IL
10/4 - Nova
9/6 - LLU (yes, I got an invite before my LORs were submitted and I am not SDA)

Thanks lol. I honestly was never told to apply to so many schools, I just applied to the ones I really wanted to go to (that were local). I saw you wanted to know the interview date and mine is for November 11th. I was really surprised to get a pre December 1st interview so late, but really glad that I did!
 
hey guys. rejection from NOVA awhile ago. applied to 22 schools, but havent heard from anyone else :/

AADSAS mail in 7/22 but DAT mail in 9/16.... am i looking at waiting until after december???

Did you apply to OHSU? Did you get any snail mail from OHSU yet?

I don't really have too much volunteer hours. I have 25-30ish hours for some outreach events. Most of my EC's are tied into tennis, teaching tennis, TA'ing for micro labs, doing research from an internship, and working/doing research in a lab.

I did apply to OHSU, absolutely! I did get the competitive letter from them two weeks ago or so. I heard interviews are going to start going out next week.

This is my fourth year applying so I'm desperately hoping to get in this time around. (First and second year interview at OHSU and then third year only interview was USC) Wait listed on all of them. 👎 I seriously can't figure out how I'm getting interviews and not getting in! I swear I'm not bombing my interviews! LOL.

Yup, same here. In my previous three years of applying, YES, THREE, with my low stats my interview invites didn't come until February or March so hang in there!

Super excited! Surprised it is pre-December interview this late!

University of Lousiville!!!! I am so excited! I sent my application at the end of July and my DAT scores are AA: 19/TS:18/PAT:17 and my GPA is 3.46. My interview is November 18th!
 
I just got an interview from NYU, my dreeeeaaaaaaam school!!!!!!!!

My whole body is shaking.. even now!!!!
This is my third interview offer, and here's the list of the other two:

Nova - interview at 11/16
Buffalo - interview at 11/18
and 😍NYU😍 at 11/21

Here is my stat:
DAT: TS23 AA21 PAT21 no section below 17
GPA: overall 3.4 science 3.3
Residency: International!!! (YES!! This is why I am so excited!!!)

I wanted to ask you guys though..Should I get an earlier date for NYU?
NYU is my first choice and I REALLY want to get in, and the earliest possible date for me was 11/15. I chose 21st to prepare myself better at interview because I tend to get nervous at things like this.

I'm just afraid if 11/21 is too late for the first round admission cycle...
what do you guys think?

Congrats dude 🙂. It really wouldn't affect your chances to change the date for 6 days earlier. Besides, then you'd have to fly from NY to FL and back to NY within 3 days of each other! You're fine the way you have it set up 🙂

I got email on the 27th, and scheduled it on 11/15/11.
My stat is 22/21/21, GPA (cum 3.4, sci 3.2).

Yes I did! I got it at 8:47 this morning! Thanks so much! Also, I forgot to mention that I am a Tennessee resident, not Kentucky so OOS applicants, there is still hope!

Hey,
The secondaries for NYU are not until you get an interview invitation.
After I set up a date for my interview, I got the confirmation email and it talks about what to submit, what to bring on the interview day, etc., which I did not check just yet.

Yo, anyone going to UCLA for an interview Nov. 4 and leaving from the bay area? I'm trying to find a buddy to ride down with me. I just realized a 6 hour drive by myself is going to be a little boring. 😴
