penn does not use aadsas to update statuses. they state that in the letter they send u, when they tell u ur app is complete. they dont use aadsas at all. so im going to assume his aadsas status was BLANK!

I'm kinda shocked, this was my least expected school to get rejected from. There is something seriously wrong with this school. It's rejecting some really good applicants😎.

I just got the email today but I called like 4 times and kept getting the voicemail so I haven't had a chance to pick a date. I'm calling first thing tomorrow. I hope all the good days aren't taken!

Yep. Penn, along with about twelve other schools I applied to, is not listed on my school decision page on AADSAS.

How long do people usually hear back from U Penn once the complete AADSAS application was mailed out and the supplemental application was received? It seems that U Penn only sends official interview invitations by snail mail, and rarely uses email for communication, is that correct?

I’m a little worried that I’ve gotten no interviews in September. I know some of these schools are really tough OOS (UNC, Colorado, Washington, etc.), but I’m a bit disappointed that I haven’t gotten a response from the others.

Congrats to the both of you for your multiple invites! With regards to your interview invitation to LECOM, did your status ever state that they will review your file again in 90 days? If not, I guess I should prepare for a rejection.

For lecom, i emailed them about letters and credentials because they were never updated until the 10th when she did it after I emailed. My status was complete under review or some long message like that then I got the email today. I don;t know what to tell you but I am really excited to actually see the dental school, not the boring medical school this time lmao.

No it did not. However Indiana did something similar with me basically delaying decision. You may still get a post December 1 interview. Good luck!!!!!

Did LECOM contact you after AADSAS mailed out your application? I heard back from every single school that I applied, either as application received or invite to supplemental application, except LECOM. According to their website, they will send you a password and username to complete the supplemental. Mine was sent out last Friday, 09/14/12. Does it take a while to hear back from them? Thanks.

I would give them a call. if you have gmail they were having a lot of problems with emails being sent out. I called and they sent it a second time and I finally received it then! good luck!

ive seen on past threads that a supplemental from umd means interview, and seems like its true i got a supplemental and got an interview 2 days after submitting it
