about 100 Shadowing hours
Study abroad in Costa Rica: 3 months
Bilingual: Spanish- English
GPA: Overall 3.88 Science 3.75
What are my chances!? Do you guys think I should retake DAT because of that 16 on PAT?

board i assume is just housing
personal allowance would be food, travel, entertainment, etc.
It starts with P. I'm not so sure they went in alphabetical order this year, but I could be wrong. In the past they have updated the portal a week or more before today. This year they didn't change it at all.
on my sheet there is
housing
board allowance
personal allowance
transportation allowance.
oh. then maybe they literally mean boards (Part I / II). lol
but unlikely.
I think they just include board as everything part of living expenses that isnt rent. where as personal is all hobby and stuff

Accepted at both schools that interviewed me! Western U and UNE! Notified by phone for Western U and email for UNE. GPA/SCI: 3.5/3.104. DAT: 21 overall, 21 PAT, 19 TS
Know what cracks me up? A year from now, we're all going to be dying from exams, wondering why we were so happy to get into dental school in the first place! 🤣

Holy hell. If you don't get in, that is clearly a testament to the increased difficulty of dental school admissions.
Do schools call for acceptances on December 2nd? Or is it just today?
I applied to GRU and UAB! Don't worry GRU will call back asap, Dr. Carol always wants the first contact to be made by end of day on Dec 1 🙂
Acceptances will continue to roll out from now on. But notable waves are around Dec 10-15th and just after Jan 1st.
And im sure some schools will be calling/emailing/etc throughout the week. So be patient.
