Your stats are definitely fine for their range. Go in with confidence, remember when you are at the interview you are past the numbers game, the playing field is leveled for everyone. At that point everyone passed the screening so everyone there is good enough to be there, so its all on who you are as a person at that point. Dont let those numbers drag you down.

I would just use this thread. It already tells you the date someone was complete at a school, gpa/mcat and when they got an interview invite. It can tell you the turn around for each school give or take.

I thought of that after I posted. Each step closer seems to ramp it up a little more. You'd think that it would recess some, given that you've already made it through so far...

First the wait to get back mcat scores, then the wait to get aacomas verified, then the wait to get secondaries, then the wait for interview invites, and then wait for interview decisions. I don't know what I would have done without SDN. I hope it's all going to be worth it at the end lol

I avoided SDN for a while, and then I found this Osteo section. Seems very supportive and mature compared to what I first ran into a few years ago on the rest of the site. I've completed 7 secondaries out of the 15 this week (hoping for 16 with Touro-NY), and today I have a break from work, and am biding my time here. Certainly helps to pass the time, when my head isn't into the essay game.

Its like I figure realistically this is the last year that I will have consistent time to do this sort of thing. School transitions into residency, residency into a job. And like I will have been married for a couple years by the time I start school, and with my wife finishing school when I start, I bet you $100 we are going to start having kids. So I definitely plan on abusing the xbox for the next 10 months or so heh...

I was on a 2-week hiatus and was finally able to catch up on the thread. I added the abbreviations next to the names of the schools and removed "school of osteopathic medicine" or "college of osteopathic medicine" since it seemed obvious and made the names much longer. I also added a "BEGIN" and "END" to the ends of the list so that hopefully we don't lose any more schools (poor ACOM and WCUCOM). Congrats to everyone with their interview invites the last two weeks! When do interviews generally "end"? I'll be sending out apps mid October and don't want to be too late to the party.
Is it safe to assume that if I send in my app mid Oct, assuming I'm qualified enough, I'll get ii's Nov and Dec? Or would schools send me secondaries for Nov-Dec and I could see interviews coming in Dec-Jan?

The sooner the better but not to worry. People get ii and accepted well into April except for MSUCOM which has a deadline in October, I think.
