yeah all day during the interview, the director of student affairs who gave us the tour of the clinics kept saying this is the last day of touring, last day of interviews, etc. i was also told that umdnj's class was FULL. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Yeah, is it just me or is Temple taking forever to contact people? I know Brian Hahn said to hear from them sometime before June... i guess he meant it 😀 by then it will be sooooooo late... anyone thinking of going there, will already have accepted somewhere else.

I think they are taking a completely different approach than last year because last year, people found out quite fast. And I have recently noticed that there are very very large interview groups EVERDAY at Temple. Honestly, I think they are trying to get in as many as possible to try and attract the "higher-end" students who have applied late while putting the average students on the backburner.

So basically I think their philosophy is to keep everyone waiting to see what the higher end students have to say....then after that, they'll go onto the average students.....thats just my theory.

About your personal situation...wow, if you get into Temple, you got two great schools to choose from, cause from what I hear, Maryland is a very good school all around and its quite cheap, isnt it? However, I have never been to Baltimore, so I couldnt comment on the city. Good Job! 👍

Temple was my first interview... and I was really nervous, so I think the interview went badly for me, thats probably why I havent heard anything. my interview at Maryland went really well... so i guess you win some, and you lose some 🙁

Yah I guess you're right....both schools would probably be the same price because Im assuming that living expenses in Philly would be the same as Baltimore. But hey, its still WAYYYY cheaper than BU and NYU where most Canadians go, so consider yourself lucky!!

I am not sure, I'm still waiting for other schools, as well, I still have interview an at Columbia. But I have to put down my deposit for Maryland soon, theyve given me till March 11th to decide, once im out $300, im less likely to consider other schools, thats why Temples waiting game is a bad idea.

The high end students apply there as their safetly school, they will get into other good schools, and then reject Temple. Meanwhile, average students who might be seriously considering Temple, get into other schools and once people put down your deposit, they are less likely to consider Temple. So they are going to lose out on good students... 👎
