Yay, I get to start this thread!!! I'll try to get the links for all the useful stuff from the classes of 2010 and 2011. Get the toolbar from http://atsu.myuniversitytoolbar.com and go to atsudo.org.

I know that they are working on the packets, so we should see them in a few weeks. YAY background checks!
BOO YAH!!! Congrats on the acceptance. If anyone has any questions about kirksville, let me know. Also, look for a KCOM 2012 facebook group.
It's a small town, but it's got everything that I feel it needs. Chinese food, pizzeria, movie theater... I'm all set!
Now the packet needs to come in the mail so I can officially make it official.
I think someone mentioned there was one close by. But I'll have to check again.
👍Hey again everyone,
I read somewhere that when we get our acceptance we get emailed login information so we can log on to different parts of the KCOM website, like the forum and such. I haven't seen that yet and was wondering if anyone has. I figure I probably won't see it until after the acceptance packet comes in and I send in the deposit, but figured I would check.
Speaking of the packets, anyone get their's or is everyone still waiting?
It's been pretty quiet over here for a while.
How's everyone doing? Joined the Facebook group yet?
If you are like me, you are busy with finals and just trying to stay motivated to finish undergrad.
My admissions counselor sent a mass email today (presumably to all of her accepted advisees) with a PDF of the clinical rotations site booklet (136 pgs.). Man, its going to be tough to decide where to request for rotations. I'm sure they are all great but how to decide which is best for me? Hmmmm. Glad that's not a decision I have to make for awhile.
Can anybody forward me that e-mail? I have not received it. My e-mail is [email protected]. Thanks a lot.
I haven't sent the money yet. I got that email a couple of days ago. It has got me really excited. They do a great job explaining how things work at the sites. You guys will get it soon. So are we supposed to pick out our top 3 spots this early in the game or after our 2nd year. I guess I spaced out when they were talking about it.
Hi all! I am trying to compare how much independent study time each school offers. Does anyone have a link to KCOM's class schedule? A 8:00-10:00 anatomy, 10:00-12:00 histology, 12:00-1:00 lunch, kind of thing for MS1. I've read the catalog, but I can't find that info anywhere. Thanks a lot!
Expect classes from 8-5 everyday, with 12-1 as lunch. It starts out pretty uniform: histo, biochem, anatomy lecture, OTM, DOctor, etc. for an hour each, then gets a little less predictable. I only know because my MS degree program at KCOM had us take 1 med course for the first three quarters of the program. I am glad I don't have to retake biochem 1, phys, or neurosci 1! Tee Hee... more time to study anatomy!👍
My email was a "we haven't heard if you want to come here, so look at our clinical rotations in detail to help you decide" kind of email.
If you guys want to look at the book (in pdf format) PM me and I'll email it to you. I may just try to email you in the next couple of days i just didn't want to send it if you already have it!
