It was a very enjoyable day! Dr. Cheramie does a wonderful job of ensuring that everyone is as calm and relaxed as possible. Whether you interview before or after the tour doesn't matter, you won't be paying much attention during the tour because you either recently interviewed and are thinking about what you should and shouldn't have said, or because you are about to interview and the anticipation is killing you.

I was slightly nervous for the one on one. I was asked quite a few situational/ethical questions, but it depends on who you get. As everyone else as said, the 2 on 1 is much more laid back and conversational. I was asked 2 or 3 questions, then we talked about the Saints, Jazz fest, and Voodoo fest.

Not much you can do to prepare other than the chalk carving. If you got an invite, it's because they are already interested in you, so all you have to do is show them that you are a real person!

Interview went like everyone here stated. The day was actually kind of fun... Now, it's just the long wait for Dec 2. Goodluck everyone!
 
Just got an invite for October 18th! Where did you all get chalk to practice with?
 
Where do you live? Co-op in BR was still selling some.

LSU Dental website gives chalk carving instructions and gives places to order chalk: Teacher Stop, Amazon, Grainger, Pyramid Supply etc.
 
Does anybody know when LSU's last interview date is?
 
Well folks, only four more weeks left. How are we all feeling?
 
Getting pretty nervous!! Does LSU send out ALL acceptances on Dec 2nd?
 
Yeah I knew they did that last year but during the interview (I'm pretty sure we interviewed on the same day) I asked Dr. Cheramie if they were sending them all out on the same day and I'm pretty sure he said they were sending them all on Dec 2nd this year. I just can't remember for sure and was hoping someone else asked!

He said they would all be sent today.
 
Does our AADSAS update at midnight Dec 2 or do they update it during normal business hours? Tayloreve, Dgeorg6, and THS, I am certain we all interviewed together. I keep laughing to myself about the size of our project. It was a great idea though.

Hahaha. I was just thinking about our project earlier. I wish we had a chance to redeem ourselves lol. And yess me and Dgeorg interviewed together...what's your name?

Oh the project...that was...interesting. I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that the design itself wasn't printed until the last 5 minutes haha!


Taylor, I'm pretty sure Rickety Cricket is our civil engineer.

Ahh.. The Civil Engineer.. His biggest regret is telling us he was an engineer lol.

Idk about you guys but I'm pretty sure our curling iron is going to win the competition or whatever!
 
Haha, I can't stop laughing about how we were like " 2mm! That's way to thick, make it thinner!".

Is anyone else refreshing the AADSAS portal every 5 minutes? Last year's thread says mobile updated before they got the email. In any case, good luck everyone!

Been refreshing both aadsas and aadsas mobile. I'm a nervous wreck! Aaaaahhhhhhh. I hope we all get emails at midnight that way I can sleep tonight! Lol
 
No one's portal has changed from "Invited for interview" to "Check back on December 2nd" yet right?!?
 
Portal still says "Invited for Interview". Does anyone know how those accepted with be notified & how early (12:00 am or 9:00 am)?
 
I emailed Dr. Cheramie and he said that they would all be sent out on midnight tonight unless there is a glitch in the system or AADSAS messes up. In that case, LSU would send out emails 10 tomorrow morning

I see that people are saying AADSAS will update at 8 AM not midnight in the "Official Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2013-2014" thread. I'm really hoping they are wrong!
 
Accepted! Email at 12:00 exactly.
