Anyone accepted into the University of Nebraska? I kinda applied to this site as a back up, so I don't know much about it.
 
Rutgers went from "in review" to "not accepted" :/
I also went from "waitlisted" at UW to "not accepted"
I still have hope in the University of Nebraska waitlist.
 
Accepted to UFL UAB & waitlisted for Howard dental. I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. Any help??
 
Is anyone waitlisted for Howard or UT Dental?

I'm waitlisted for dental as well. On the email we got the day before results came out it says the latest we'll hear back on a status is the 5th of April.

I confirmed to University of Nebraska for dental! I got accepted for the early admissions. I choose it mainly because I heard they guarantee an interview when applying to dental and med school if you complete the program. But i've also read a lot of other great things!

I got Waitlisted for Howard too. Have you had the chance to get in contact with them? Unlike Florida, when I called their office, my call never got through
 
Hello, I'm in need of advice.

I got accepted to the Pre-Medical Program at Western University of Health Sciences but I might refuse it because I got an offer to work as a Medical Assistant at a hospital near me. Not only does this work not require certification, but it will also train me on the job. The whole point of me applying for this program was to figure out what Pre-health path I wanted to do and if I really even want to do Pre-health. However, I think the job at the hospital might be way better in helping me make my decision. I'm just reluctant to reject the offer because I'm not too sure how much it would offer me in terms of insight of the medical field.

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated!

Yes I emailed on saturday and got a response the same day saying on april 5th the selection committee will select students if it is determined that they need additional students to make the class.

Hey! Is anyone pre-pharmacy? If so, where did you apply to? Just trying to get a feel for the number of pre-pharm folks!
 
Who's been confirmed for LSU? Have you guys been contacted yet from the site about our next steps?
 
I got off the waitlist for Nebraska yesterday and was accepted but I'm still on the waitlist for Houston & Florida & those were my top 2 choices, so I'm still waiting to hear back. I'm hoping I get into at least one of those!

Still wait listed for Howard (pre-pharm).

Not liking how a decision will be made after April 5, 5;00 PM EST on whether or not I will be accepted to Howard.

By that time, I would have already missed the offer to Rutger's site.

I would honestly say to just take the Rutgers offer, unless you want to risk it gambling.
 
I am waiting on Houston Medical. SHPEP said the earliest they would notify is on April 5th 5 PM ET. That's pretty much my only hope. I hope I get in! Good luck to others waiting on Houston

Wait, earliest? So it might become 5pm today and we might still be waiting?

I'm waiting on houston dental.

Probably. I feel like it is the earlier they tell you the higher you are on the waitlist. I'm not sure though. Good luck!

Anyone applicant can get experience as an MA. But not any applicant to med school will have SHPEP. And I remember reading that if you do shpep you have like a 60% more likelihood of matriculating to med school. Shpep is better.

Did anyone also just get an email from Howard about the waitlist?
 
I'm still on the waitlist for both Houston & Florida.
 
we still have to wait awhile. I think they are now seeing how many empty spaces they have and they are about to start picking people off the waitlist.

Yeah, I called Florida and they told me the same thing. They said look out for any status updates within the next couple days.
